Areas of Mallorca

Mallorca divided the way buyers and agents actually talk about it: ten zones, the island’s 53 municipalities, and 146 of the towns, ports and neighbourhoods inside them, each with its own page.

Why our areas don’t always match the official map

Officially, Mallorca’s municipalities are grouped into six comarques. Buyers don’t use them: nobody looking for a house calls Pollença “Serra de Tramuntana” or Alcúdia “Raiguer”.

So our ten zones follow the market, while every place still sits under its official municipality. Where a place is officially part of somewhere else, like Cala Major (part of Palma) or Illetes (Calvià), we give it its own page and say so.
